Biography

When a client hires Kevin Young, they get his full range of services and over ten years of design experience. On his past projects he has provided color consultation, space planning, furniture selection and design, accessorizing, complete remodeling of kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas. Kevin's attention to detail, his project management skills (dealing with general contractors, vendors and furniture manufacturers) and his personality allow him to successfully bring his projects to their full fruition.

Kevin's design philosophy is that the home should compliment the client's personality and lifestyle needs. When Kevin approaches a project, he listens to the client's needs and desires. Often clients cannot conceptualize their own style. Kevin helps visualize their style and has the innate ability to translate those ideas into a functional and practical environment, which they can be proud to showcase.

In addition to the HGTV's Designer Challenge home remodeling project that he competed and won, some of Kevin's other projects include:

• Furnishing a 7,200 Sq.ft. home in Malibu Hills, in an elegant neo-classic style.
• A complete gut and redo of a 1970's pink Palm Springs condominium into a beautiful Ritz Carlton-styled suite.
• Furnished a contemporary home in Beverly Hills with bold accents of color in the frunishings and artwork.
• Remodeling a large 1970's bathroom and walk-in closet in Laguna Beach, into a relaxed, elegant, and spacious master bathroom retreat.
• Furnished several villas in the Temecula Wine Country, with a European country décor.
